DECJUBA is one of those clothing brands that just does it right. Now that I'm in my mid-30s (eek) I'm gravitating to clothing lines that curate a collection of higher quality items that mix classics and trends. Ten years ago I'd hunt everywhere for good deals and try on a million items before committing with my credit card.
Today I'm brand loyal. I know what I like, what fits and don't want to waste time. I only shop at a handful of stores and like to build a closet of classic staples like denim jackets, soft knits, white tees, and ripped jeans. Those aren't going out of style any time soon. I add a few seasonal hot items; this year, it's off the shoulder tops, dungarees, and a moto biker jacket. Read on to check out my DECJUBA (pronounced De-Cuba) wardrobe this year.

I'm a denim LOVER. And DECJUBA is best in class for denim. My weekend casual clothes generally feature at least on one piece of denim, sometimes two (I can't help mah-self), and the more rips the better. These destroyed denim jeans are a staple in my closet. There's no stretch for that boyfriend look and feel so make sure you get the sizing right.

Off the shoulder tops are new in my closet. They've been hot for over a year now and I was reluctant at first. Questions to self: Is it comfortable? What bra do I wear? Can't I just wear a tee shirt? They aren't for everyone (I get that) and are not the most practical, but they can amp up an outfit so good. This one from DECJUBA is soft and flowing and hangs just right.

More off the shoulder right here, but this time with destructed denim shorts and a statement necklace. Pro tip: Roll up the outside hem of your denim shorts and leave the inside hem down for a flattering curvy look.

Ripped jeans have been my go-to bottoms for the past 5+ years. I'd wear them all day every day if I could get away with it. This combo with a relaxed white tee is comfortable and fits just right.

Hike those jeans high in the waist and roll the cuff for a look that is super on trend right now.
When I dress up for a date night or out with the girls, my OOTN is usually a dress like this ruffle number, a denim jacket and booties or wedges. Simple, comfortable and pretty.

Jeans + Tee = My Jam. I'm all about pairing t-shirts with denim (my Insta account is FULL of evidence) and DECJUBA tees fit just right. They are just the right amount of "loose fit" to give that casual an comfortable feel without being too oversize.

Okay, okay. Overalls tend to make me feel like a high-schooler but these feel less Miley Cyrus and more Coachella, you feel me? They fit loose around the hip and are short-but-not-too-short. Perfect for summer beach trips or weekend soccer mom duties.

Winter whites are just so crisp, especially when matched with denim. Caution: does not mix well with kids, but whatever. If you're on the hunt for the perfect white tee see a round up of my 5 faves here.

Hot on trend right now are cut off denim vests and pale pink (aka Millennial pink) oversize denim jackets. I don't have a pink denim jacket (YET...because I'm on the hunt) but I'm rocking the vest over tees and hoodies a lot lately.

That's my round up for the DECJUBA items that are currently in my wardrobe. I'm going to do a part two of this series coming soon. This is not a sponsored blog post, but I do partner with DECJUBA occasionally for Instagram.
Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions on sizing or fit or whatever else. Some of the items are sold out after some recent sales but there still a lot of these items in stock.
Happy shopping friends!
